School Council

School Council

At Church Hill Primary School, pupil voice is an important part of our school community and helps ensure that the needs and interests of our children are reflected in school life. One of the key ways we achieve this is through our School Council. Each year, two children from every year group are elected by their classmates to represent their class and share their ideas and views. These representatives meet regularly with Jade to discuss ways pupils can contribute to appropriate school decisions, including fundraising activities, learning opportunities and wider experiences available to children at Church Hill. Through these meetings, pupils learn that their voices matter and develop the confidence to advocate not only for themselves but also for their peers. The School Council helps to strengthen our inclusive culture, ensuring that children feel listened to, valued and actively involved in shaping their school experience.
