School Day
At Church Hill the school day begins at 8:50am and ends at 3:15pm for EYFS & KS1 and 3:20pm for KS2.

Lunch:
Reception 11:50 – 1:00pm
KS1 – 12:00 – 1:00pm
KS2: 12:15 – 1:15pm
School Ends:
EYFS/KS1 – 3:15pm
KS2 – 3:20pm
Reception and Key Stage 1 children come into school via the single gate on Burlington Rise and are collected from their classroom door.
Key Stage 2 children come into school via the double gates on St Mary’s Road at 8:50am and should go straight into their classrooms. Years 3 and 4 are collected from their classroom doors and years 5 and 6 are collected from the KS2 playground.
The school gates close promptly at 8:55am each morning. Children arriving after this time must enter school vis the main school office and be signed into school on the ‘late arrivals record sheet’ at the school office.
Early Morning Interventions:
These begin at 8:30am every morning and children invited to take part should arrive promptly. In order to minimise disruptions and maximise the benefit of these additional sessions, children arriving after 8:35am will be asked to wait outside the school gates until the beginning of the school day.
